Join the South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM) as a Human Resource Officer (ASO4) and play a vital role in supporting the Emergency Services Sector. You'll deliver expert HR advice, guide managers and employees through recruitment, onboarding, and employment processes, and help shape workforce strategies. Your work will include interpreting policies and procedures and providing advice, preparing HR materials, undertaking research and projects and driving continuous improvement in HR systems and processes.

Primary Purpose:
The Human Resource Officer is accountable to the Manager, Human Resources for the delivery of an effective human resource advisory and support service to the Emergency Services Sector (ESS) – South Australian Country Fire Service, South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service, South Australian State Emergency Service and South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission. This includes providing timely and quality advice on a broad range of general human resource matters, guidance and education to employees in various HR systems and processes and undertaking relevant research and general projects.

$$76,561 to $80,256 plus 12% superannuation
Special Conditions:
