The Opportunity
In this role, reporting to the Head of Engineering, you'll provide timely technical support to ensure smooth business operations for our clients.
You'll handle troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electronic devices, leveraging strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills to resolve technical challenges effectively. While experience in aesthetic technology is a plus, it's not required.
The Role
* Provide over-the-phone and email technical support with exceptional customer service.
* Resolve client concerns and queries promptly and maintain strong relationships.
* Perform maintenance and on-site servicing of Aesthetic Technology as needed.
* Keep clients updated on progress, delays, and completion estimates.
* Test new, demo, and loan devices for settings, upgrades, safety, and functionality.
* Support the Technology Certification process with TGA.
* Maintain and update technical manuals and resources.
About You
* To be successful, you will either hold a degree or technical/trade qualification with some previous experience working in a similar position responsible for servicing electronics;
* 1-2 years Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving device-related problems.
* Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to listen and analyse needs.
* Planning and organisational skills coupled with strong time management skills to rectify issues within a timely manner.
* Ability to communicate technical information in simple terms when liaising with clients.
* Willingness to go above and beyond to support clients, and team members and achieve business goals.
* A valid driver's license and car required for on-site client support is a requirement for the role.
* Experience with medical and aesthetic devices, particularly lasers, IPL machines, and LED phototherapy devices, will be highly advantageous.
