**Job Description Summary**
We have an prospect for a Financial Anaylyst to provide forecasting, planning and analysis to our Life Sciences and Supply Chain business units.
**Forecasting, Planning and Analysis**
- Assist FP&A; Manager and other Business Analyst with preparation for Projections, Annual Strategic Review and Budget.
- Prepare and submit required supporting data and schedules to Regional Finance on a timely manner.
- Provide support to other FP&A; members, including acting as a backup.
- Provide support to Business Analysts in terms of management reporting requirements
- Other ad-hoc tasks as requested by FP&A; Manager or Finance Director.
**Supply chain finance Support**
- Develop reports/dashboards that supports key business decisions
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to generate business/operations insights
- Analyse actual results versus forecasts and budgets in order to provide insights to local and regional management.
- Analyse Inventory, inventory reserves and procurement costs (includes attendance at S&OP; meetings).
- Generate ad hoc reporting and analyses, including historical database analyses and competitive analyses, to support operations, marketing planning and strategy.
**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**:
**Essential**:
- Tertiary degree in a Finance related field;
- 3 years overall finance work experience with at least 1 year in a similar role in a medium sized multinational organisation;
- Demonstrated experience of budgeting and using forecasting tools tailored to meet business needs.
- Demonstrated experience of designing and implementing business reporting models.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Proactive approach to issue resolution
- Dealing with change and ambiguity
- Problem solving skills
**Desirable**:
- Accounting technical skills - with some previous exposure to US GAAP;
- Experience working in the healthcare industry.
