Your New Role
The classroom teacher is the major in-school influence on student achievement and plays the key role of facilitating effective learning and teaching. The first function of the classroom teacher is to be an effective member of a collaborative team of colleagues who work to put student learning and wellbeing first.

Essential Criteria
* Have a sound knowledge of, and a commitment to, the mission of the Catholic school
* Plan and deliver engaging weekly Music lessons for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, aligned with the NSW Curriculum.
* Lead and conduct the school choir, including preparation for performances and events.
* Promote a love of music within the school community through creative, inclusive and developmentally appropriate experiences.
* An effective classroom practitioner with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, demonstrating how this is reflected in everyday practice.
* Ability to incorporate appropriate behaviour management strategies that promote a positive school environment in accordance with the Positive Behaviours for Learning framework.
* Current NSW Working with Children Check
* NSW NESA Accreditation
