LAN SPA is seeking a reliable and experienced Secretary General to support efficient office administration and assist management in our regional NSW location. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations and accurate record-keeping of bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage correspondence, emails, incoming and outgoing mail, and phone calls, including responding to inquiries, redirecting callers, and transcribing dictated letters and documents
* Maintain schedules, appointment diaries, and arrangements for management clients, and liaise with staff to arrange meetings
* Prepare, proofread, and maintain reports, briefing notes, correspondence, documents, and records, ensuring accuracy and proper filing
* Assist with general office administration tasks, including filing correspondence, maintaining records, and implementing management decisions as required
* Support management and staff as required, including maintaining records of meetings and providing or gathering information
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal staff to gain and provide information
* Perform front-desk and reception duties as required, including greeting visitors, ascertaining the nature of business, and directing them to appropriate persons
* Handle basic bookkeeping and petty cash functions as required
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a secretarial or similar administrative role
* Positive outcome from VETASSESS skills assessment (or equivalent)
* Relevant diploma in management or business (preferred)
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, office systems and Fresha
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
