About the Role
As Spare Parts Sales Officer you will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager. This role is hands-on, and you will play a key role in the smooth running of the spare parts group daily activities.
In your new role you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
* Interpretation of technical drawings and selection of parts to meet customer requirements.
* Work with large profile and key accounts, analyse budgets, and determine ways to streamline and increase sales.
* Provide estimates on labour, parts, and shipping (international and domestic).
* To provide assistance in maximising sales of the entire range of Heat and Control products and spare parts.
* Perform other sales tasks as assigned.
About you
This is a busy role, to succeed you will need:
* Work-related experience in an engineering-based sales environment is critical to the role.
* An ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential.
* Experience with estimating and shipping will be beneficial.
* A good knowledge of Heat and Control products/food processing products would be highly regarded.
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
* Computer literacy in spread sheeting, database and word applications essential.
* Good planning and organising ability in order to meet deadlines.
