About the role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the IT Manager is responsible for leading the organisation's technology strategy, infrastructure, and day‐to‐day IT operations. This is a hands‐on leadership role, acting as the central point of accountability for IT while working closely with an external managed service provider to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions across the business.
Your day to day will include:
* Developing and delivering the organisation's IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
* Managing IT operations, infrastructure, and systems to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
* Overseeing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and external service providers.
* Leading IT projects including system upgrades, integrations, and new technology rollouts.
* Providing hands‐on Level 1–2 support and acting as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
What you'll bring
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
* 5+ years' experience in IT with strong technical troubleshooting capability
* Proven experience developing IT strategies and managing infrastructure and operations
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and networking principles
* Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and implementing security controls
* Demonstrated experience managing IT budgets, vendors, and procurement
* Proven ability to lead projects and deliver outcomes on time and within budget
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
