Summit Homes Group is looking for a solution-focused and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our New Homes Maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is site-based at South of the River residential construction sites and involves inspecting residential buildings, preparing detailed service reports, coordinating with the office Service team in Myaree, and carrying out small repairs and handyman tasks. A key part of the role is building strong relationships with our homeowners and collaborating closely with the office-based Maintenance and Service team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
About You
You will ideally have experience in building inspections, residential maintenance, or as a service contractor, and be ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong understanding of residential construction, workplace health and safety, the National Construction Code, and Australian Standards. This role would particularly suit someone with a handyperson skillset, comfortable carrying out small repairs and general maintenance tasks. Exceptional organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, problem-solving abilities, and a "can-do" attitude are essential. Qualifications as a Building Practitioner would be highly regarded but are not required.
