Job Role
The finance department is looking for a dedicated Financial Assistant to support the team in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and providing administrative assistance.
1. Prepare and process financial statements, invoices, and payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Maintain up-to-date financial records, assist with month-end reporting and provide data insights to inform business decisions.
3. Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, record-keeping, and responding to queries.
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve financial discrepancies.
5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
6. Assist with stock management, including monitoring and physical counts.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
* A strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.
* Proficient in accounting software, spreadsheets and other office productivity tools.
* Proficient in MYOB, advanced Excel skills, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive and problem-solving approach to support the finance team.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
