Boral is seeking a Development Engineer to support technical excellence and quality assurance in our R&D and testing operations.As a Development Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing construction materials testing methodologies and mix designs.
You'll contribute to industry-leading research and development and support customer-facing initiatives.What You'll Do:Lead and support high-end concrete testing, including durability and lifespan assessments.Collaborate with internal teams on trial mixes and lab testing methods.Stay ahead of industry trends in testing, including non-destructive techniques.Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders.Manage one direct report and facilitate knowledge transfer within the lab.What You'll Bring:Strong background in materials science or materials engineering.Experience in concrete mix design, admixtures, grouting, or consultancy.Familiarity with industry standards and testing protocols.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Why Join Boral?
