About the Job
Salvos Stores in the Geelong Region are looking for talented Store Managers who love retail, love a challenge, and love waking up each day with a passion for making a difference. You will take ultimate accountability to drive and lead growth whilst providing an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members.
Responsibilities
Retail management or a similar industry background.
Lead, grow and develop a team of paid employees and volunteers.
Ensure extraordinary customer service is delivered in every interaction.
Embed exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards.
Role-model a safety-first culture in the store.
Plan and manage the financial performance of the store.
Build and support the volunteer workforce and engage with the local community.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar industry is highly regarded but not essential.
People and team leadership, passion and proven ability to deliver outstanding results in a complex and rewarding retail environment.
High energy, hands-on individual with a proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service.
Outstanding written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills.
Solid technical skills and experience using Workday HCM system is highly regarded.
