About the Role
We are currently seeking an exceptional Visual Merchandiser to join our amazing team based in the Osborne Park showroom. This is a full time position. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm. No weekend work will be required.
As a Visual Merchandiser you will be the key partner to the Visual Merchandising and Retail teams. You are responsible for maintaining the fg visual merchandising standards, collaborating with the image direction, as well as delivering an exceptional standard of sales service to our valued current and new clients.
This is a very exciting role where your creative skills will have a direct impact on our fg customer experience and journey.
Key duties will include:
* Merchandising our beautiful décor ranging from homewares, art, lighting and art.
* Organising showroom layouts to inspire and excite
* Working closely with the fg Creative Director and the VM team to ensure that the style and presentation of the Brand always aligns with the brand standards.
* Assisting in photo shoots and other marketing activities where a creative eye and flair is required.
* Keeping up to date with the latest trends
* Stock replenishing of all decor on the sales floor.
* display-set, product and ticketing presentation in-store.
* providing styling advice to clients in store when required
* processing sales and assisting customers at busy periods
With a background in visual merchandising gained through practical experience and or study, you are passionate about interior design and / or furniture, and would like to apply your skills in a collaborative environment.
To Be Successful you will require the following:
* Demonstrated success and at least 3 years experience in visual merchandising within the interiors / design industry
* A strong passion for interiors and design as well as customer service
* Team-focused with a desire to collaborate and communicate positively and effectively.
* Aware of both local and international trends in styling and interiors
* Understanding of competitor brands, locally, nationally and globally.
* Commitment to your personal and professional development and growth.
* An excellent attitude to get the job done 'with a nothing is too hard' approach
* Strong knowledge and understanding of visual merchandising principles
* Highly energetic, driven and physically fit
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Tertiary qualifications in visual merchandising or design is not essential but is highly regarded
