About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our aged care team in the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager as an annual leave reliever.

This opportunity supports high-quality patient care, staff development, and operational leadership of an aged care unit. The ANUM works closely with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and may also cover the NUM role at times.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with best practice standards and AHPRA requirements.
• Provide clinical leadership and operational management during allocated shifts.
• Promote evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Assist the Nurse Unit Manager with workforce management, performance development, and service planning.

What We're Looking For

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organisational skills.
• Recent aged care experience; leadership experience is desired.
• Understanding of Aged Care Standards and commitment to person-centred care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• A compassionate, respectful, and professional approach to caring for older people.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and computer literacy skills.
