Job Title: Virtual Property Assessor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Property Assessor to join our team. As a Virtual Property Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting desktop assessments of insured properties using virtual assessing and/or causation reports provided by our suppliers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough and detailed assessments of properties to determine cause, coverage, damage and best repair methods.
* Produce high-quality reports that meet our quality standards.
* Review scope of works and expert reports to ensure the most cost-effective and timely method of repairs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including local authorities and third-party building surveyors.
* Negotiate and define the scope of work and associated costing with key stakeholders.
* Manage end-to-end claims, ensuring all necessary controls are in place to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
* Prior experience working within the insurance, building or construction industry is highly advantageous.
* Exceptional customer service and supplier relationship management skills are essential.
* Able to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Able to prepare scopes of work, quotes and estimations extremely advantageous.
* Confident using technology and able to adapt to new systems.
