We are an established Law Firm operating in Southern Lake Macquarie for over 35 years offering legal services in the areas of Family Law, Wills and Estate Planning, Conveyancing and Business Law, Commercial Leasing, Estate Litigation and Criminal Law.
About the role
We are looking for a motivated person to provide support for our legal team.
We have a full time legal secretary/paralegal position available. The successful applicant will assist our solicitors in various areas of legal practice but most particularly in conveyancing and family law.
Although the position is envisaged as full time we can offer flexible work arrangements and career advancement opportunities are readily available for the right person.
Applicants must be Australian permanent residents to be eligible for this position
We want to hear from you if :
* You have significant experience working within legal firms and can hit the ground running, and
* You have a minimum of 2+ years of experience working within legal firms
* You have experience in one or more of the following areas of practice:
o Conveyancing
o Family Law
o Wills and Estates
* If you have previously worked in any of these areas and are looking to resume your legal career or if you are looking for the opportunity to expand your legal skill set and advance your legal career

Desirable Criteria
The ideal candidate will have;
* experience as a legal secretary, paralegal or a senior administrative assistant in a legal office
* experience using LEAP software
* the ability to work with minimum supervision
* excellent communication skills and fast accurate typing
* the ability to prioritise
* the ability to work productively within a team
* the confidence to work directly with clients
