Supply Chain Governance Lead
This role is pivotal in establishing a Supply Chain function that drives governance and assurance frameworks, delivering procurement outcomes aligned with national industry objectives.
We seek a strategic and experienced Supply Chain Governance Lead to lead the development and implementation of subcontracting strategies within a high-profile Defence Program.
* Establish and enhance governance and assurance frameworks for a new Supply Chain function.
* Develop and implement subcontracting strategies aligned with program and industrial goals.
* Lead supplier qualification processes and manage strategic supplier relationships.
* Drive the creation of key supply chain contractual deliverables and coordinate stakeholder inputs.
* Develop and integrate supply chain management plans with broader program objectives.
* Mentor and lead a high-performing team of supply chain professionals.
* Collaborate across engineering, production, logistics, and international partners to ensure alignment and success.

* Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
* Supply Chain certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are highly desirable.
* 10+ years' experience in supply chain roles, ideally within Defence, Manufacturing, or similar sectors.
* Proven expertise in supply chain governance, strategic sourcing, and contract management.
* Familiarity with ASDEFCON framework and Defence procurement policies.
* Skilled in supply chain systems such as SAP or Oracle.
* Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and analytical capabilities.
* Committed to fostering Australian industry participation and sovereign capability.

* A current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
* Nationality requirements apply due to access to protected US defence technology.
