As our client base continues to expand across metropolitan Adelaide and surrounding suburbs, we are seeking compassionate, reliable and culturally aware Aged Carers to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.
We support older adults to live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes, in line with Australian Aged Care Quality Standards.
Due to strong demand from Chinese-speaking seniors and their families, fluent Mandarin is required for these roles to ensure we can provide linguistically and culturally appropriate care and communication.

Your Role :
In this role you will provide direct care and daily living support to older clients in their own homes. Duties include :
* Providing personal care, including bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance, according to each client's care plan
* Assisting with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, feeding assistance, light housekeeping, laundry and basic household tasks
* Offering companionship, emotional support and social engagement, including conversation, accompanying clients on walks or to appointments, and supporting community participation
* Assisting with medication prompts / reminders in line with organisational policies and documented care plans (no administering of Schedule 8 medicines)
* Observing and monitoring client wellbeing, reporting any changes in health, mood, appetite or mobility to supervisors promptly
* Delivering culturally sensitive, person-centred care, respecting clients' backgrounds, preferences, routines and privacy
* Following all care plans, risk assessments, infection control procedures and WHS requirements
* Accurately completing shift documentation, incident reports and progress notes in a timely manner
* Liaising with families, coordinators and other care team members to support coordinated care
What We're Looking For
* Fluent Mandarin to meet the needs of our culturally and linguistically diverse client base
* A natural caring attitude, empathy and patience, with genuine passion for supporting older adults
* Reliability, professionalism and strong communication skills
* Experience in aged care, disability support or community care (highly regarded but not essential)
* Ability to perform personal care tasks, use safe manual-handling techniques and follow written care plans
* A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
* Willingness to obtain and maintain required clearances
