As a key player in the Investment Banking Division, you will be involved in executing business strategies at the heart of a leading global investment bank. You will work alongside expert professionals to drive success and achieve your goals.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team specializing in financial advisory services, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory. Our focus areas include transport, energy, renewable generation, and digital infrastructure. By leveraging industry expertise and extensive global networks, we help clients achieve their investment goals and drive sustainable growth in essential services.


Responsibilities

* Work with senior bankers to originate, structure, and execute financing and advisory transactions across various products, including M&A, IPOs, bonds, loans, and structured products.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients and lead banker on deals with a focus on Australia, while also having opportunities to work on global cross-border deals involving Australian clients.
* Develop marketing and execution materials to maximize client impact.
* Liaise with internal and external parties on transactions, such as lawyers, accountants, and third-party consultants.
* Participate in business events to identify new opportunities and pitch for new clients.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

* A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
* At least 3 years of experience working in the front office of a top-tier investment bank or a deep technical background in infrastructure advisory and project financing modeling.
* Transaction experience and proficiency with industry trends are highly desirable.

You should possess strong analytical, communication, and writing skills, as well as the ability to interact comfortably with clients and management. Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently and in teams are essential qualities for this role. Additionally, strong financial modeling skills are required.
