Position Summary
We are seeking a talented, experienced Lawyer/Associate to join our National Work + Road team in Bendigo. The successful person will work closely with an established team across a range of matters, take carriage of a file load, and forge strong links with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Management of a Work + Road practice
* Provide clear, practical and concise legal and commercial advice
* Provide a tailored approach to clients to understand the context of their matter
* Identify practical and innovative solutions for clients
* Maintain and build new client relationships for the practice
* Provide exceptional service to clients
Qualifications
* Previous practising experience in personal injury law with a passion for Work + Road law
* Exceptional negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
* Demonstrated network and relationship management skills
* Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
* Ability to listen to, and empathise with clients and their families
* Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems expeditiously and satisfactorily
* Superior organisational skills
To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with full and unrestricted working rights in Australia. Proof of work rights will be required as part of the Slater and Gordon application process.
