We specialise in managing medium to large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in public environments. Our expertise spans sectors such as local government, education, aged care, sport and recreation, as well as critical public infrastructure like water and public transport. Touch Projects is known for its ability to deliver projects in challenging, live environments with precision and professionalism.
We typically respond to 2-4 tenders or proposals per month. Whilst tender writing will be the primary focus of the role, other documents and marketing collateral will need to be maintained.
Role Description (Part-time)
This is a part-time role based in our Collins Street office for a Tender Writer. The Tender Writer will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and editing tender documents to secure projects in sectors such as local government, education, infrastructure and utilities. This includes creating compelling and accurate proposals, managing submission timelines, collaborating with internal teams to gather necessary technical and financial content, proofreading, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements. The role also involves continuous improvement in bid writing strategies to enhance the success rate.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Writing, Technical Writing, and Business Proposal Development
* Strong Research, Communication, and Documentation Skills
* Proficient with InDesign and the MS Office suite
* Detail-oriented with excellent Proofreading and Editing abilities
* Understanding of Local Government, Public Infrastructure, Education, or Construction sectors
* Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in tender processes and compliance requirements
* Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
