Southwest Hospital Pharmacy is a unique pharmacy, located at and providing services to St John of God Bunbury Hospital at the South West Health Campus.
Summary of Position
As the Assistant to the Directors of Pharmacy, your role is to assist the Directors with day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy, including scheduling appointments, liaising with key staff within the hospital on behalf of the directors, project management and assisting with rostering and team management. You will work collaboratively with the Directors of Pharmacy to achieve business objectives, including realising any opportunities to improve, extend and optimise the hospital pharmacy's operations.
The role is a part-time position approximately two (2) days per week.
This is a permanent role, reporting to the Directors of Pharmacy.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position will assist the Directors of Pharmacy with day-to-day operations including the following duties and responsibilities:
* Project management;
* Scheduling appointments & managing diaries;
* Employment and on-boarding of new staff, including managing accommodation requirements;
* Rostering for a workforce of 30-35;
* Invoicing and account receivable of key accounts;
* KPI data collation and reporting;
* Co-ordinate Pharmacy & High School student work placements;
* Co-ordinate the social media and marketing for the business;

Work related requirements
Essential
* Well developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment; and
* Proficient with IT systems and software, in particular Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite and Excel.
* Eligible to work in Australia with appropriate work rights.
Desirable
* Current knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity in all aspects of employment and service delivery.
Skills
* Previous experience in an executive assistant or personal assistant capacity is highly desired;
* Ability to take initiative;
* Strong communication skills;
* Strong computer skill set; and
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
Location
This role is undertaken at the pharmacy's premises, St John of God Bunbury Hospital or elsewhere as directed. There will be flexibility to undertake work from home.
