We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Power Transmission) to join the team based in Brisbane Monday to Friday, on a permanent basis. Periodically you will be required to travel to site.
APIP (Australian Power Industry Partners) are an experienced high voltage services contractor delivering end to end electrical solutions for transmission, distribution, and substation infrastructure across Australia. Relocation may be available for successful candidates.
Some key responsibilities include:

Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality
*
Work closely with client representatives and deliver to meet their requirements
*
Provide support to tender and estimating teams
*
Planning, development of execution strategies and construction readiness
*
Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract
*
Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required
*
Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project
What you will bring:
*
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or relevant other
*
Relevant on-site industry experience in power transmission projects
*
Proven experience providing detailed tender stage level works methodology for submissions
*
The ability to use and produce schedules, (P6 / Microsoft project) Gantt charts
*
The ability to complete all aspects of tender request documentation.
*
A methodical approach including good time management, detail oriented, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
*
Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
*
Proof of right to work in Australia.
