About the Position
The role reports directly to the Support Services Coordinator but works under the direction of the Team Leader on a daily basis.
* Laundry and Cleaning Services: Providing laundry and cleaning services for the facility.
* Maintenance of Facility: Maintaining the care facility as a neat, clean, tidy, and comfortable living environment.
* Servery Operations: Cleaning of all equipment, preparation, and serving of meals.
* Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning of the facility, resident rooms, and other areas as required.
As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals. Shifts operate 24/7, with variable shifts and occasional short-notice requests considered essential for facility operations.
Key Qualifications and Skills
The following qualifications and skills are essential:
* Basic Food Handling Certificate: Proof of this certification is mandatory.
* Certificate of Safe Chemical Handling: This certificate is also compulsory.
* Good Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork.
Desirable qualifications include a Chemical Handlers certificate, food handling experience, and working in aged or healthcare settings.
