About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive primary health care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering patient-centred and culturally appropriate care.
The role involves applying current best practice guidelines, including national clinical guidelines, health pathways, RACGP guidelines, and therapeutic guidelines. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including Indigenous Health Practitioners, Nurses, Allied Health Practitioners, Reception and Administration staff.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing regular preventative health activities, such as health assessments and chronic disease management care plans.
* Accurately recording MBS items for all clinical activities and maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation.
* Participating in outreach clinics, providing support to colleagues, and maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
Required Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A postgraduate medical qualification equivalent to the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellow of Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).
* Vocational registration (VR) as a General Practitioner and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
Additional Requirements
In addition to the above qualifications and experience, you must:
* Be able to pass a National Police Check – no Serious/Criminal/Court Records.
* Provide proof of qualifications and current registration prior to commencement of employment.
