Job Description
Addelec Power Services Pty Ltd is a high voltage electrical services provider with theknowledge and capability to exceed project needs from design conception through to commissioning. We are specialists in industrial high and low voltage electrical services and associated civil works, including installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and project management to both public & commercial sectors across Australia.
Addelec Power Services is a complete service provider who work collaboratively with the Client from the initial briefing through to completion of the project, optimising the value within your specific project scope, whilst mitigating risk.
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Electrical Tester / Calibration Technician to join our dynamic team and help us maintain the highest standards in compliance testing and equipment calibration.
About the role:
The role will play a key role in ensuring our clients' plant, tools, and equipment meet statutory and client-specific compliance requirements. Your work will ensure safety, accuracy, and reliability across all our services.
* Conducting high voltage testing of plant, tools, and equipment.
* Testing, calibrating, repairing, and adjusting inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
* Communicating effectively with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with performance standards.
* Completing all tasks with precision, accuracy, and attention to detail.
* Tracking and reporting stock usage, orders, and requirements to management or administration teams.
* Assisting customers with replacement products, upselling, and advising on services to meet their needs.
* Traveling to remote sites and locations as required.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
* Qualifications in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics are desirable but not essential.
* Previous experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Calibration, or Processing fields is advantageous.
* Strong willingness to learn, upskill, and develop professionally.
* Customer-focused mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Commitment to workplace safety.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
* Basic computer literacy.
* Current State-issued driver's license (minimum P Plate); HR Truck license is a plus or willingness to obtain.
* Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours when needed.
