We are looking to fill a number of full-time permanent roles within our production assembly departments with individuals who have a diverse skill set.
There are a number of benefits working for Jayco, such as:
* Permanent, full-time positions: Monday to Friday. Shifts ranging from 6:30am - 3.20pm
* 9 Day Working Fortnight - Every second Friday RDO
* Dandenong South based.
* All tools are provided.
* Working indoors and out of the elements.
Production assembly positions available include:
Electrical Assembly - $30.76 per hour
* Install and assemble electrical components including wiring, lighting, solar panels, batteries and appliances.
* Perform rough-in electrical installations, including running cables and preparing wiring for final connections.
* Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
* Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure all systems function correctly.
* Read plans and drawings.
* Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace and adhere to safety protocols
General Assembly - $30.76 per hour
* Using hand and power tools to build accessories and other components for our recreational vehicles.
* Installing panels, trims and windows.
* Fitting rear lights and bumper bars.
* Working with fibreglass to build roofs & walls.
* Fitting side frames to the vans.
* Laying floorboards onto the chassis.
* Read plans and drawings.
Pre Assembly - $30.76 per hour
* Using hand and power tools to build accessories and other components for our recreational vehicles.
* Suspension arm and Axle installation.
* Fitting wheels to hubs after axle installation.
* Fitting shock absorbers and springs.
* Fitting tow couplings and caravan hand breaks.
* Fitting fold down support legs.
* Completing wheel alignments.
* Fitting caravan water tanks.
Pre-Wiring and Pre-Plumbing - $30.76 per hour
* Pre-rough-in and pre-plumbing of vans.
* Installing external lights and speakers.
* Read plans and drawings.
* Some experience in either electrical or plumbing is required.
Cabinet / Furniture Maker & Pre-Assembly Builder - $30.76 per hour:
* Using hand and power tools to build bed bases, cupboards, kitchens and cabinets.
* Building showers, overhead cabinets & bathroom vanities.
* Installing furniture to the floor of the caravan.
* Read plans and drawings.
* Previous experience in building cabinets or furniture is highly regarded.
Process Workers / Machine Operators - $30.76 per hour
* Operating Routers/Presses
* Load and unload materials on machinery
* Cut, trim, and shape laminated panels
