Overview
At ATCO Gas, we're looking for an IT Vendor Manager who knows how to get the best out of technology partners. Someone who can balance relationships, performance, risk and commercial outcomes to ensure our vendor ecosystem genuinely delivers for the business. In this role, you'll oversee ATCO's strategic technology vendors and ensure services, licences, and solutions are aligned with our operational priorities and broader technology strategy. You'll bring structure, clarity and a proactive approach to vendor governance, performance management and commercial delivery across our IT supplier base. What Success Looks Like
You're the person who brings discipline, transparency and a lift in vendor performance. You build strong partnerships, drive accountability and make sure ATCO consistently gets value for money and future focused solutions.
* Maintain a structured vendor management framework covering governance, performance, compliance and continuous improvement.
* Lead vendor performance management across SLAs, KPIs, scorecards and service governance routines.
* Build strong, commercially sound vendor relationships and manage escalations effectively.
* Support commercial negotiations, renewals, and contract variations to secure value and manage risk.
* Ensure vendor services align with ATCO's technology strategy while driving cost optimisation, innovation and service improvement.
Qualifications
* A qualification in Business, IT, Supply Chain or a related discipline is highly regarded.
* Experience in technology vendor management within energy and/or construction industries.
* Relevant certifications (advantageous but not essential): ITIL, PMP, Supplier or Contract Management certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
You Bring
* Demonstrated experience managing IT or technical vendors, including performance monitoring, compliance, service governance and relationship management.
* Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract structures and change management processes.
* The ability to collaborate confidently with procurement, legal, commercial, finance and IT teams.
* Experience implementing or maintaining governance frameworks, SLAs, KPIs and performance dashboards.
* A proactive mindset, you don't wait for issues to surface; you stay ahead of them.
