 
        
        On behalf of our client Kenviro, we are advertising. Kenviro Pty Ltd is looking for full time Metallurgical / Materials Technicians to join the team. 
Responsibilities 
Demonstrated experience working as a HDPE Materials Technician. 
Experience in QA-QC Materials testing methods and quality HDPE Material construction techniques. 
Ability to fully maintain and service materials testing and fusion equipment and troubleshooting equipment faults. 
Non-destructive testing (vacuum and air pressure) of HDPE polymer weld seams. 
Destructive testing of HDPE polymer weld seams using calibrated tensiometer. 
Undertake all QA-QC on site without supervision and document. 
Train material technicians' grade 1, 2, 3 & 4. 
Set up welding equipment to achieve test weld passes and approve test welds. 
Pipe Penetration work and detailing. 
Complete preparation of materials and equipment for mobilisation to projects, accurate recording of assets and materials dispatched for projects. 
Requirements 
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position. 
The successful applicant must hold a clean, current driver's licence, be available 7 days a week / 24 hours a day. Shifts include: Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, Public Holidays. 
Job Type: Full-time Permanent 
Salary: $89,000.00 per year
