The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our Yallambee Residential Aged Care Facility in Millmerran, QLD.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee all operational aspects of the facility to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care
- Lead, coach, and support staff to provide person-centred care and develop their professional capabilities
- Balance people leadership with operational responsibilities to maximise funding income, meet budget requirements, and maintain compliance with aged care standards
About You
Reporting to the Director of Residential Services and working within a supported network of Facility Managers as part of the Sapphire Leadership Team (SLT), you will bring:
- Previous experience as a Facility Manager (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in aged care or the health industry
- Demonstrated experience in managing aged care funding and subsidy claims
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, inspire, and retain talent
- Proven ability to build a culture that reflects McLean Care’s mission and values
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Competence in preparing and managing operational budgets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated clinical leadership experience in a regulated environment
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Unrestricted driver’s licence
