Early Childhood Educator Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team in providing high-quality early learning and care services for children aged 30 months to school-aged.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the child care team to implement the BC Early Learning Framework in a group setting, provide guidance skills for an inclusive environment, and organize daily activities and routines for children.

* Daily Activities: Organizing and managing daily activities and routines for children is a key responsibility of this position.
* Safety and Health: Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, including adhering to immunization schedules and obtaining necessary certifications, is a top priority.
* Ongoing Professional Development: Engaging in ongoing professional development and continuing education to enhance practice and knowledge in early childhood education is essential.
Educational Requirements:
* Certificate or Diploma Program: Completion of an Early Childhood Education certificate or diploma program is required.
* Valid Certificate: Hold a valid Early Childhood Educator Certificate issued by the BC Early Childhood Educator Registry.
* BC Early Learning Framework Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework (BC Government, 2019) and ability to implement into practice.
* BC Community Care and Assisted Living Act: Strong knowledge of the BC Community Care and Assisted Living Act and current BC Child Care Licensing Regulations.
* Emergency Childcare Certification: Must hold a valid Emergency Childcare with CPR-B (or C) First Aid certificate.
* Criminal Record Check: In accordance with the BC Criminal Records Review Act, must have the ability to provide a clear criminal record check.
* Immunization Program: Documentation of compliance in the immunisation program per Ministry of Health guidelines (childhood immunisations).
