Job Description
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key retail clients.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
- Monitor and analyse account performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities within the retail industry.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all account activities.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in account management within the FMCG industry.
- A strong background in sales and client relationship management.
- Experience managing key accounts, including Coles and Woolworths.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic account plans.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor performance and identify opportunities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
- A tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
