About the Opportunity
The Wests Group invites enthusiastic and service-driven people to express interest in joining our teams at Wests Nelson Bay and The Anchorage Hotel and Spa. These venues offer a variety of opportunities for individuals who enjoy creating welcoming, memorable experiences for guests.
We regularly welcome expressions of interest across the following areas:
* Bar and Gaming Attendants – Supporting our bar and gaming operations with friendly, professional service. RSA and RCG certifications are required.
* Catering Roles – Including food court team members, kitchenhands, cooks, and chefs. Experience in busy kitchen or service environments is highly regarded.
* Restaurant Food & Beverage Attendants – Delivering warm, attentive dining experiences. RSA certification is required.
* Hotel Roles – Housekeeping and Guest Relations positions where attention to detail and a genuine approach to service are valued. RSA certification is required for front office roles.
These roles require availability on weekends and during peak seasonal periods, with reasonable availability from Monday to Thursday. Bar and gaming roles are particularly important during peak trading times and are often rostered from the evening through to the early hours of the morning.
As part of The Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role. This includes, but is not limited to, a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification via our company portal. All associated checks and costs will be facilitated by The Wests Group.
