Offer description

Do you love turning paperwork chaos into calm, audit-ready order, and being the friendly, professional face people remember?

If so, you'll fit right in at Crux Biolabs.

Our company is growing fast – and we're seeking a driven Documentation Assistant/Receptionist to jump on board and grow with us.

What does that look like? You'll be the lab's backbone, supporting our tight-knit team of scientists helping pharma companies create medicines that save lives.

Driven by science, respected for results

At Crux Biolabs, we love one thing: science. It's what unites us and drives us to help our clients create safe and effective medicines the world can access.

Since day one in 2011, we've supported clinical and pre-clinical pharmaceutical development projects from Australia and around the globe. Our team is small – 55 to be exact – but our results speak volume. That's why we work with some of the best pharmaceutical and biotech companies and clinical research organisations.

The Crux Biolabs evolution

Like the human cells we analyse, Crux Biolabs is growing fast. We're on the hunt for someone keen to be a part of our growth. Someone excited to join Australia's pharmaceutical and clinical development ecosystem – at the ground level.

What does that mean for you? Ample opportunity to innovate. And a career trajectory that matches our expanding horizons.

The culture that awaits you inside Crux Biolabs

Fast-paced: Think of our labs as a racetrack – and you're the pit crew chief. Your attention to detail will keep us running at peak performance.

Innovative: Always wanted to create something new? Here's your chance. Help implement our new online sample management system and be a pioneer in our workflow improvements.

Supportive: Thrive in a culture that values inclusivity and development. Your ideas are heard, your efforts applauded, and your successes celebrated.

Rewarding: Work hard and be rewarded with a competitive salary and flexible work arrangements.

Impactful: This isn't just another job – it's an opportunity to shape how we work and leave a lasting impression on a growing Australian industry.

A day in your new work life

In this brand new role, you will be at the forefront of records management and reception support, while also gaining exposure to wider office operations. Here is a taste of what you will be doing:

* Manage the full lifecycle of company records, including creation, storage, retrieval, archiving and disposal, in line with procedures and retention requirements
* Maintain organised and accurate digital and hard copy filing systems, scanning, indexing and uploading documents into electronic document management systems
* Prepare records for onsite and offsite archiving, and liaising with offsite storage providers for collection, retrieval and destruction of records
* Act as the first point of contact at reception, greeting visitors, clients, coordinating visitor sign in and meeting room bookings, managing phone calls, emails and general enquiries
* Provide general administrative support to the leadership team and wider office

This role suits someone early in their career who is highly organised, comfortable working on site and keen to build strong skills in records management, archiving, reception and office administration within a quality focused environment.

What we're looking for

* Interest in records management, archiving, document control or administration, and confidence working with both digital and hard copy documents
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Clear communication skills and a friendly, welcoming manner
* Willingness to handle a mix of tasks
* Any experience in reception, front desk, records, administration would be an advantage, but not essential
* Comfortable working full time on site in Bayswater
