Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and convert opportunities for parts sales and machine upgrades across the Dragline and ERS portfolio.
* Evaluate customer requirements and pain points to develop tailored solutions and sales strategies.
* Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing customers to drive value and long-term engagement through mine site visits and in-person customer interactions. Proactively generate new leads through networking, referrals, and outreach.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
* Support the development and execution of strategic growth plans aligned to targets and Caterpillar's ongoing investment in Dragline support.
* Promote a strong safety culture by actively participating in safety initiatives and adhering to policies.
* Foster collaboration, trust, and teamwork across teams to ensure shared success and a unified customer experience.
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent experience are preferred.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer-facing role within the mining or heavy equipment sectors is required.
* A proven ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships is essential.
* Familiarity with mining operations, particularly in Dragline and ERS equipment, is necessary.
* An intermediate understanding of Hastings Deering and Caterpillar support systems (or similar platforms) is required.
* Strong product knowledge in parts and experience with prime product equipment is necessary.
