About the role:
Due to our continued growth, Campbell Construction Co is looking for someone to join their New Homes & Renovations team in our Sunshine Coast office (Birtinya location).
About the Role:
* Contract Management: Prepare, review, and negotiate building contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and fairness for all parties involved. Monitor the execution of contracts to ensure all terms and conditions are adhered to by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Maintain Prime for all contract records and correspondence, ensuring all documents are uploaded. Book appointments/meetings where required for the Construction team, Supervisors, and Clients. Attend regular Client meetings on-site with supervisors if required.
* Project Administration: Assist in the coordination and management of all phases of construction projects from start to finish. Prepare progress reports for the Regional Manager and clients, highlighting any risks or issues that may impact the project. Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, clients, and other relevant parties to resolve issues promptly.
* Budget and Financial Control: Monitor project costs and ensure profitability, managing any variations. Ensure all deposit, progress, and completion invoicing are forwarded to finance for processing in a timely manner. Record all financial information, including draft invoicing and transactions, in Prime.
* Compliance and QA: Issue contract-related notices including; commencement, variations, extensions of time, RFIs, completion, and handover. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including building codes, safety standards, and environmental laws.
About you:
A strong candidate for this role will have:
* 5+ years experience in contract administration
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with other programs and systems
* Highly skilled in managing competing priorities, effective time management, and organisational skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills via phone and email, both internal and external
* A positive and proactive approach, being a great team player in a people-focused business, and someone who strives to provide the best experience possible
