About The Business Unit
Civil and Enforcement Services (CES) is a business unit within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's Courts, Civil and Criminal Law division. CES is responsible for managing the end-to-end infringements system in Victoria and includes the Director, Fines Victoria and Director, Sheriff's Office Victoria (Sheriff of Victoria).
Sheriff's Office Victoria (SOV) is an office within CES and provides strategic direction and support on policy, operational and technological matters to regional Sheriff's Officers and regional management, and coordinates centralised administrative functions on behalf of the Sheriff of Victoria.
About The Role
Reporting to the Director, SOV, the Senior Manager, Business Improvement will develop strategic advice on cross-function business improvements to support efficiency and effective management of SOV.
Some Of Your Duties Will Include
* Partnering with Director SOV (Sheriff of Victoria), Assistant Director, Deputy Sheriff and other key stakeholders to deliver initiatives to drive service delivery
* Coordinating Sheriff-wide analysis of business operating models and processes to identify areas of improvement and provide strategic advice for change
* Supporting the transformation of sheriff functions and services across Regions and work alongside senior executives to ensure the organisational design and capabilities are developed in line with business needs and new operating models.

* Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex policy and issues and provide accurate and strategic advice
* A strong ability to lead strategic business improvements
* A wealthexperience in strategic law enforcement policy
* Extensive experience in evidence-based strategic project work.
