Our client is a boutique law firm based in Fremantle. They pride themselves on being a down‑to‑earth, friendly and progressive law firm dedicated to achieving exceptional results for their clients. As a direct result of growth they are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join their small team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity working 1:1 with a friendly and very approachable specialist litigation lawyer working across a mixture of cases. This is a full time opportunity and you will be responsible for:
* Working with one solicitor to support them with a number of key clients
* Drafting correspondence including court, legal documents and general correspondence
* Preparing matters for conferences and hearings
* Delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines and competing priorities
* Conducting legal research
* Providing a great level of care and support to clients in a professional manner
* Coordinating appointments for lawyers, appointments for clients, conferences and mediations
* General administration
Your profile
To be considered for this position you should have:
* Ideally previous experience in a similar position
* High level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Great organisational skills and a keen eye for details
* Ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
