About the Role

Arts, Heritage and Libraries brings creativity, culture and storytelling to life across the region. The Branch enriches community experiences through dynamic library services and vibrant arts and heritage programs. Working within this team means contributing to a purposeful and future‐focused environment that enlivens the region's cultural identity.

As a Senior Learning & Engagement Officer, you will:
* Design and deliver diverse and inclusive creative arts programs.
* Collaborate with internal/external partners to deliver public programs.
* Lead event delivery, including stakeholder coordination and documentation.
* Train, coordinate and support engagement facilitators and volunteers.
* Help develop promotional and engagement materials for programs.
* Build partnerships with schools and community groups to grow visitation.
* Develop and facilitate networks that enhance regional cultural outcomes.
* Evaluate programs and report on budgets, outcomes and insights.
* Ensure effective coordination, scheduling, administration and communication.
* Coordinate the Gallery's Volunteer Program, including training and recognition.
About you

To succeed in this role, you:

* Bring extensive experience creating and delivering innovative gallery and arts programs and events
* Excel at designing experiences that engage diverse audiences.
* Are a skilled collaborator who builds strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
* Can confidently lead program delivery and guide facilitators and volunteers.
* Communicate clearly, professionally and with strong customer‐focused insight.
* Are highly organised, with excellent time‐management and prioritisation skills.
* Thrive in both independent and team‐based work environments.
* Enjoy developing resources that enhance learning and engagement outcomes.
* Are committed to continuous improvement and program evaluation.
* Bring professionalism, integrity and strong alignment with Council values.
