What will you be doing?
As a Mechanical Lifting Engineer you will provide independent, impartial advice during the planning and execution phases of projects, working closely with project teams and clients.
Responsibilities
* Understand project briefs and ensure the highest level of Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.
* Work as part of the project team, ensuring common operational procedures are followed.
* Liaise with Project Managers and keep them updated on project progress.
* Review all received projects, identify any issues and work with contract partners before work commences.
* Utilise reporting software to accurately record all required documentation.
* Ensure compliance with HPC Health and Safety policies, procedures and lifting standards, including spot checks on project teams.
* Consistently provide an exceptional level of customer service while representing the company professionally.
* Work night shifts: 5 nights per week on Monday‐Friday, with 2 nights off per week on Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements
* Proven experience in the lifting industry.
* In‐depth experience in planning and managing complex lifting operations using CAD.
* Knowledge of crane, rigging and lifting operations.
* Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Construction Lifting, Positioning & Installing Structures, Plant & Equipment (Rigging/Erecting) or equivalent.
* ECITB Moving Loads at SCQF Level 6.
* ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads (APML).
* ECITB Technical Test TAP01 – Plan a Rigging Operation.
* CPCS A61 Appointed Person.
* Flexible approach to working, including travel, overtime and covering workloads during busy periods.
* Full driving licence.
