* Delivering telecommunications uplift projects with a cyber lens
Our client, a Federal Government department based in Tuggeranong, ACT, that delivers payments and services to a range of Australians, requires the services of a Delivery Manager for a month contract.
Duties - Delivery Manager:
* Set the prioritisation required to inform and implement delivery;
* Build and implement a Performance Measurement Baseline with periodic reporting;
* Ensure timely and orderly implementation of new capability and disengagement of current services in accordance with the Program Schedule;
* Support the management of project deliverables and compliance with organisational expectations. Identify and manage project interdependencies and wider agency dependencies, which may include development of a dependencies management plan;
* Prepare a range of written material;
* Form, lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on maximising their contribution to program and project delivery through a shared vision;
* Develop staff capability through coaching, mentoring and succession planning to increase performance, engagement and retention.
Skills and Experience -Delivery Manager:
* Strong cybersecurity background to plan and deliver cyber deliverables for a significant and sensitive program of work;
* Experience delivering telecommunications uplift projects with a cyber lens;
* Experience managing large, multi-year programs of work for major organisations;
* Demonstrated commercial aptitude is required to negotiate deliverables and expectations with multiple vendors;
* Highly developed communication skills and experience communicating with influence;
* Ability to develop integrated delivery documents aligned to business, technology and vendor project schedules.
