Financial Reporting Expertise
We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, with expertise in preparing and presenting financial information to stakeholders.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards (AASB/IFRS).
* Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
* Collaborate with other teams to deliver budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments.
* E nsure compliance with tax obligations, including BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax, and other statutory requirements.
* Lead payroll processing and ensure alignment with relevant legislation and internal controls.
* Overs ee general ledger, accounts payable and receivable functions.
* Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support business and board-level decision making.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance.
* CPA/CA qualified (or working towards).
* 5+ years' experience in financial or management accounting.
* Strong knowledge of AASB and/or IFRS.
* Experience with financial systems and software, including Excel.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
