We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead our high-end office redevelopment project. This is an iconic project located in West Perth, providing the successful applicant with further experience and exposure.

The role requires monitoring and managing design and construction activities on the project, ensuring management and completion within time and cost constraints to achieve delivery objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:
">
">
* A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or related discipline;
">
* Multi-discipline commercial construction experience on projects $100m +;
">
* Experience with managing documentation at each milestone of the project lifecycle through construction, to practical completion and final certificate;
">
* Experience managing Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) trades from design to commissioning;
">
* Previous experience in hospitality or retail construction;
">
* Client-side project management / PMO experience in complex projects.

Your Responsibilities

1. Manage specific functions of design, procurement and construction via regular reviews of progress, quality and costs.
">
2. Oversee the commissioning and handover phases on the project.
">
3. Deliver quality assurance and quality control administration in accordance with the contract.
">
4. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including safe working practices.
">
5. Handle complaints, negotiate disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts.
">
6. Oversee and monitor the performance of the main contractor and direct subcontractors.
">
7. Project manage functions including scheduling; cost control; reporting; prepare and administer contract documents.
">
8. Manage variations by analysing implications of scope change on issues such as cost, safety, quality, and schedule.
