About the Role:

As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential services to older adults in the community. You will be responsible for providing focused home-based services for clients with a variety of health conditions, accessing services through their Home Care Package (HCP). Our service is built on a foundation of innovation, focusing on clients' strengths, goal-directed interventions, and maximizing independence and autonomy.

You will work autonomously, managing your own caseload, but will have access to regular one-to-one clinical supervision and support from the Clinical Lead of Occupational Therapy. We also provide generous financial support for professional development, enabling you to expand your skills and knowledge in your chosen areas of interest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to older adults in their homes

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized plans to promote client goals and outcomes

• Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal results

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A recognized tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy

• Current registration with AHPRA

• Experience working in the Community Aged Care sector with clients receiving services through their Home Care Package

• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical practice working with a variety of health conditions in 65+ year old clientele

• The ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload independently

• Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance

• Have a valid driver's license and access to a car
