As Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership team, playing a key role in the commercial management and successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for contract administration, cost control and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing head contract and subcontract administration across multiple projects
Preparing, reviewing and issuing subcontract agreements and scopes of work
Managing variations, progress claims and payment schedules
Cost tracking, forecasting and budget management
Procurement of trades and suppliers in line with programme requirements
Ensuring contractual compliance and maintaining accurate project documentation
Supporting project reporting and maintaining systems such as Procore (or similar)
Assisting with risk management, value engineering and commercial negotiations
Maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients
About You:
1+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within the construction industry
Experience delivering commercial, community or specialist building projects preferred
Strong understanding of Australian standard form contracts (AS4000, AS2124 etc.)
Solid commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
