Advance Swim School is currently seeking a Casual Swimming Instructor to join the team in Sunbury! 
We provide the opportunity for children of all ages and abilities to learn to swim in a safe, fun and encouraging environment. 
The position requires an energetic, motivated person who is dedicated to the delivery of a professional Learn to Swim Program. 
What does the role involve? 
- The delivery of safe, effective and professional swim lessons. 
- Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of teaching swimming and water safety. 
- Provide excellent customer service to all Learn to Swim students and their families. 
- Possible coordination hours for administration, phone and email correspondence to coordinate and grow the swim school department for the right applicant. 
- Casual position from 8 hours per week, with a possible 25 hours per week including coordination for the right applicant 
Apply if you: 
- Have a current learn to swim accreditation (Austswim, Swim Australia or LSV) 
- Have Level 2 First Aid, or able to complete before start date (Highly Regarded, CPR certification at a minimum) 
- Working with Children's check 
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain before commencement) 
- Experience preferred 
- Infant aquatics (Highly Regarded) 
- Are passionate about teaching students to learn to swim 
- Are friendly, energetic & confident 
- Enjoy working in a team environment. 
- Are well presented and have excellent communication skills. 
- Applicants must be available to work Saturday mornings as well as weekday evening shifts, with pay in accordance with Level 4 of the Fitness Award.
