A high profile, critical minerals mining company with a pioneering greenfields project in Central West NSW, currently seeks to appoint a Health & Safety Manager. With studies completed, funding well advanced and FID expected soon, this is a unique opportunity to establish health & safety systems and frameworks, build the team and have a meaningful impact on a high profile development project approaching construction.
This newly created permanent opportunity will be responsible for:
* Establishing Health & Safety systems & procedures
* Setting clear standards & expectations
* Ensuring H&S compliance, including contractors
* Developing critical risk frameworks
* Overseeing critical incident investigations
* Reporting & Audits
* Preparing Health & Safety frameworks for commissioning & operations

Operating on a residential basis, this site based appointment will typically work a 5/2, Monday to Friday. With numerous regional centres within easy daily commute, candidates can reside in the surrounding areas of Dubbo, Parkes, Forbes or Condobolin. A lucrative remuneration package including short & long term incentives is provided. Relocation is provided if required.
As the ideal candidate, you will be a Health & Safety Manager with a strong track record in mining construction and operations. You'll have a demonstrated understanding of NSW regulations, the ability to create effective H&S frameworks, foster a safety focused culture, ICAM and ISO audit accreditations.
