Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Officer to administer Leases and Licences functions for city-owned properties.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation of the city's property strategy and be responsible for administering expressions of interest and permits for commercial use of city property.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer Leases and Licences functions for city-owned properties.
* Participate in the implementation of the city's property strategy.
* Administer expressions of interest and permits for commercial use of city property.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification or diploma in property development, property management, commerce, or law is essential.
* More than five years' experience in a similar role in local, state, or federal government or in commercial property management is required.
* Extensive knowledge of property legislation including the Land Administration Act, Local Government Act, Residential Tenancies Act, Commercial Tenancies Agreements Act, Planning and Development Act, and other associated statutes relevant to land tenure matters is desirable.
