About the Role As a Senior Analyst, you’ll lead and support cost allocation processes and reporting for Suncorp’s IA and NZ portfolios. You’ll design and maintain models that enable accurate financial outcomes and partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights for business performance. This opportunity is a 12 month secondment (contract) prospect.
What You’ll Do
Deliver cost allocation results for budgets, forecasts, and actuals, ensuring governance and accuracy across IA and NZ portfolios.
Design, develop, and maintain allocation models and systems, integrating outputs into strategic decision-making.
Produce monthly reporting in Power BI and provide ad hoc analysis to stakeholders for deeper insights.
Collaborate with finance partners and technology teams to ensure alignment and timely communication of rule changes.
Identify and mitigate risks to deliverables, maintaining strong governance and quality standards.
What You’ll Bring
Degree in finance, accounting, or related field (CPA/ACA/CFA preferred).
Minimum 4 years’ experience in management accounting within financial services and 2+ years in cost modelling/allocations.
Strong understanding of expense drivers, cost allocation methodologies, and financial management concepts.
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot, DAX) and experience with TM1, Oracle PCM, and Power BI.
Ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
