What\’s the role on offer? We’re looking for a Finance Systems Accountant to join Alliance Airlines on a 12-month fixed term contract, based at our Brisbane Head Office. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with a variety of exciting projects that enhance our finance systems from automation and reporting innovations to budgeting and contract module improvements. You’ll work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver smarter processes, sharper insights, and real value across the business.
Responsibilities
- Partner with finance and procurement teams to streamline processes, improve procedures, and deliver actionable insights.
- Support the development and enhancement of the enterprise budgeting model, including balance sheet and cashflow components.
- Participate in system development and documentation for the contracts module across revenue, direct costs, and procurement.
- Drive automation initiatives, including client invoicing, monthly pricing reviews, and system-generated reporting.
- Develop integrated, interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and TechOne to support management and compliance reporting.

Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a proactive finance professional who thrives on solving problems, improving systems, and turning data into insights that drive decision-making. You’ll have extensive TechnologyOne skills across procurement and reporting functions and bring strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the confidence to take ownership of projects that make a real impact.
- Tertiary qualification in finance, business, or commerce, with project management experience or accreditation an advantage.
- Hands-on experience administering TechnologyOne systems, with strong problem-solving skills in system applications.
- Ability to collate, analyse, and simplify complex data to support business decisions.
- Exposure to process improvement or project delivery, including requirements gathering and documentation.
- Confident communicator who can lead training sessions and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively while leading by example.
