Overview
TasNetworks, Tasmania's electricity network services provider, delivers safe, reliable, and cost‐effective power to more than 295,000 customers across the State. Operating at the centre of a rapidly evolving energy sector, the organisation plays a critical role in supporting the transition driven by renewable generation, emerging technologies, and increasing customer expectations.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be a key member of the Executive team and a prominent leader in Tasmania's energy transition. You will shape the future of the State's electricity network by establishing shared goals with industry partners and stakeholders across the energy supply chain. Your strategic leadership will guide the safe, efficient, and innovative delivery of TasNetworks' regulated network business.
Key Responsibilities
This role offers the unique opportunity to lead a broad portfolio that includes field operations, asset management, program delivery, major projects (excluding NWTD), network planning, and network operations. Success will rely on your ability to inspire high‐performing teams across Tasmania and foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive culture.
Qualifications
You bring senior leadership or executive experience and strong knowledge of the electricity sector, ideally gained from a network asset owner, engineering services provider, or major customer environment. Individuals with exceptional leadership acquired in an alternative utility or linear infrastructure sector will also be considered. A collaborative and decisive leader, you are committed to developing talent and aligning people initiatives with organisational goals. You also possess the qualifications and capability to support future business growth.
